Tomorrow Is My Birthday. . .

I will be 29 years old as a gift from me to me I have decided that this will be my final entry for this blog.

Let me explain.  This has been one hell of a week – the telephone and TV cables were accidentally cut and it took several days to get them repaired.  I got sick with a fever that reached 103.8 and raged for four days before breaking.  T.J. discovered an infestation of bedbugs in his room; from where it came, who knows but it necessitated us bagging and getting rid of his mattress, box spring and headboard, ripping up the carpet in his room and laundering all his clothes, the bed linens and curtains then spraying and re-spraying his dresser, closet, desk, TV, game systems and computer as well as the room itself!  We had to buy him a new bed which won’t be delivered until a week from tomorrow.  And, of course, our dog just had to choose this past week to get in a fight with a neighbor’s dog resulting in a trip to the vet!  All this I had to try to deal with from my sick bed!

I can’t do all that and pay attention to this blog.  And lately, I've felt this blog has become a bit of a strain to do.

Last March, on the way home from Atlantic City where Ian and I celebrated our first anniversary, Ian asked me why I did what he called my “porn blog” and I had no good answer.  I took a month off to figure out the answer and I came back without one other than “because I wanted to.”  In the nearly four and a half months since I've been back, I've felt an increasing sense of monotony with the blog.  As pretty as the men I post are and as raw as some of the sex depicted here has been, it’s all fairly much the same – just cocks and asses and cocks in asses and cocks in mouths.  There’s no excitement to it anymore.  Maybe I've outgrown this blog and don’t need it anymore.

When I first started posting pictures of naked men, the thrill for me wasn't the nakedness of the men; fuck, just about everyone who reads this blog knows what cock looks like, feels like and tastes like.  No, the thrill was in stringing the photos together in some way that made sense, using an adjective as a theme like “blonde” or “cowboys” or using random guys I thought were hot looking.  I sometimes even added a little narrative to string the pictures together with.

In the beginning, this blog was more about my life; exploring who I was, where I came from, what made me who I am.  It has, over the years, degraded into a simple photo blog without much to say.  Look at what I've posted since I came back last April – in the last 71 posts, only 17 have had some connection to me personally.  The rest, the other 54, were pretty much just cocks and asses and cocks in asses and cocks in mouths.

So I’m going to walk away from this.

I want to thank all the people who have come and enjoyed my blog over the years.  Had it not been for some of you, I would not have returned last April.  If you enjoyed this, please visit my other blog, Garth's Daily Naked Men -- which you can reach here – I’m going to keep running, at least for now.  It’s a nice, simple little photo blog, just naked men.  A new naked man every day.  Drop by and take a look.

So again, thank you and good-bye.

Partially Clothed

Every now and again, Ian puts on a little strip show for me to get me all hot and bothered and the sexiest part of the show is when he pulls his semi-hard cock out of his boxer-briefs while still wearing his totally unbuttoned shirt, revealing his tight, furry abs and chest!  It always gets me hard and I take him in my mouth before he can even get fully naked!  That's why I like these pictures so much; they remind me of Ian's little shows.

Back From Atlantic City

Ian and I got back from Atlantic City mid-afternoon yesterday and we had a really good time.  We stayed at the Wyndham Skyline which was just up the street from Resorts and two blocks from the boardwalk.  The room was nice, actually is was a suite -- there was a little kitchen, a living room and a separate bedroom.  The only thing I really didn't like was that the Jacuzzi tub in the bedroom wasn't big enough for both me and Ian.
When we weren't playing roulette or blackjack at Resorts, or catching waves at the beach, or fucking each other silly, we were visiting Ian's cousin Marty, a really funny queen just a few years older than Ian, who insisted she on taking us to The Rainbow Room Sunday night, the only LGBT bar/club in AC, or so I'm told. Truth be told, the drinks were a little weak, but the strip show was really nice!
Saturday, Ian and I played tourist and took in  Lucy the Elephant and the Absecon Lighthouse.
After we got home yesterday, I did a walk-through of the house and was pleasantly surprised that everything was more or less the way we left it, save, of course, for the dishes piled in the sink.  When I asked T.J. what he had done while we were gone, he said he mostly played video games (like I knew he would) and went to the movies with some buddies from school.
It took me most of the morning to do a thorough cleaning of the house and do the laundry, but the house is clean, the laundry is done and dinner is cooking in the crock-pot.  It was really nice to be away for a few days, but it was nice to sleep in my own bed too.

Going Away

Ian and I are going away to Atlantic City for a short vacation and to visit a cousin of his.  We'll only be gone until Monday, but in the meanwhile, T.J. will be home by himself.  I fully expect the house to be a mess with dishes in the sink when we get back -- lol!  He's promised not to have a party, but I have a feeling he'll have some friends over for video game marathons!
I trust my brother not to screw up too badly.  Just the same, I think I'll ask one of the neighbors to look in on him from time to time.
See you all in a few days!

400th Post!

A few months ago I wasn't sure I wanted to keep the blog going.  Now, not only have I reached my 400th posting, but I've started a second blog -- Garth's Daily Naked Men -- which you can reach here.
Life is good!  T.J. is off for the summer, working in a local supermarket.  Ian enjoys his job as a physical therapist and I only have a few more classes to take before I finish my degree.  All of my late father's properties are rented and half that money goes into a trust account for T.J.  The other half I divide between myself and an account for maintenance on the properties.  Right now everything is fine, but it does not take much to put a major dent in your savings when something goes wrong.
T.J. has a girlfriend.  Her name is Beth.  Even though he hasn't brought her to the house to meet us, I've seen her picture and she's very pretty.  I've had 'the talk' with him and have made it clear what my expectations of his behavior are.
You might recall that Ian's sister had a baby a few months ago.  Well, one of our friends, Diane, also just had a baby.  Ian and I know so many people with babies and small kids that he actually asked me what I thought about kids of our own.  To be honest, I have been thinking about it for a while now and I always assumed that Ian was the one who didn't want kids 'messing up our lives.'  There's still plenty to talk about, but maybe there will be a little boy or a little girl in our future.

Thinking About Getting a Pool, Again

For as long as I can remember, I've always wanted a pool in the backyard.  I even looked into different pool designs:
The backyard isn't very large, but with planning, one could be put in and we would still have space for entertaining and cooking.  It's much too late in the year to put one in now, but come April or May, Ian and I might go through with it.  If for nothing more than midnight swims sans suits of course.
In the meanwhile, if we want to go swimming, we have to go to the beach or a friend's pool. Luckily, we know a couple of guys who have pools and entertain nearly every weekend. And their parties often end up looking like the pool area at that all-male resort in Key West Ian and I went to on our honeymoon.

Back On Broadway

Last night, Ian and I were at the Cort Theater to watch Daniel Radcliffe in The Cripple of Inishmaan. It was a fantastic performance!  We were six rows from the stage in the center orchestra and the eighth and ninth seats.  We had a fantastic view!  The story itself was funny and sad and poignant and the cast was marvelous! It was a more enjoyable experience than the last play we saw last October, No Man's Land with Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen.
Daniel Radcliffe and Sarah Greene in Act One of The Cripple of Inishmaan.
After the play, we went out for a late dinner then decided to head out to Rockaway to watch the sun rise.  That's when Ian got this wicked twinkle in his eyes and disappeared into one of those tacky 24-hour souvenir stores all over the theater district.  When he came out, he would not tell me what he just bought.   All the way on the drive to Rockaway, Ian was more tight-lipped than I have ever seen him.  Once we got to the beach however, rather than just sit there the boardwalk and fall asleep, Ian took two beach towels out of the souvenir bag and headed down to the sand.  Once on the sand, he spread out the blankets, stripped naked and ran into the surf.  Of course I could not let him have all the fun so I stripped too and followed him into the water.  We were only in the water a few minutes before it got too cold.  We dried off as best we could, put our boxers back on then sat of the beach towels and just watched the stars and the surf.   We stayed there for over an hour just sitting and stargazing until we decided to head home.  We gathered our clothes and the towels, headed back to the car and drove home in our underwear.  Back home, we showered together to rid ourselves of all the salt and sand before headed to bed.

In The Middle

For about two years, from early 2009 to early 2011, more than a year before Ian proposed to me, we shared our lives not only with my Grandma, but with another lover, Billy.  I loved both Ian and Billy at the time and had Billy not moved back to Philly, things might be very different today.  At the time, I thought we had a great arrangement -- the three of us often paired off for a night, but we had our share of threesomes.  On those nights, one of us would be the bottom and the other two had their way with him.  Those were wild and heady days!
