The End of the Year
Only a few short hours remain until 2013 ends, so here are some other ends to make the year's end more memorable!

Home At Last
T.J. and I got home about 3 o’clock after driving for what seemed like
forever! He's in his room either sleeping or playing video games --
either way, it's good to be home. T.J. actually did some of the driving and
gave me some time to nap. Don’t let anyone
tell you otherwise, but long-distance drive can make you very tired.
After relaxing for about five minutes, I got to work doing laundry.
The second dryer load is nearly done and
I’ll be folding it shortly. I also cleaned
the bathroom, dusted, vacuumed and straightened up as much as I could in the last
three hours.
Ian came home about a half hour ago, but since there was no way I was
going to cook tonight, we’ll be ordering from our favorite Chinese take-out place.
Tomorrow night is going to be big here; Ian and I are hosting a
New Year's Eve Party. Last year we threw an underwear party; this year
we're going with a beach theme -- I bought most of the stuff weeks ago and only
have to decorate tomorrow since we decided to have the party catered. Everyone is coming in their bathing suits (or
changing into them once they get here). And, if it goes anything like
last year, someone will get naked before the end of the party!
Until then, enjoy the following beach-themed pictures!

Look! No Hands!
Things in Frederick were going great! We had a great time! Ian's plane left a little while ago and T.J. and I are about to head out for our drive back to New York, but I thought I'd post some hot photos first. Enjoy!

Merry Christmas from Frederick, OK
T.J. and I arrived at Great-Aunt Sarah's a few hours latter than I had hoped; getting here a little before six yesterday instead of the anticipated arrival of around lunchtime. We had a bit a weather to deal with and a little traffic around Tulsa.
Anyway, it's all good. We had a great dinner and loads of fun after dinner.
So, Merry Christmas!

Heading out of Town for Christmas
Just got off the phone with
Great-Aunt Sarah. Everyone is doing well
and all the preparations for the big Christmas get-together are shaping
up. T.J. and I leave for Frederick in
the morning. We’ll be driving all the
way so it should take up a couple of days to get there. Ian couldn’t get more than a few days off, so
he’ll be flying all night Tuesday, arriving around breakfast time on Christmas
Day if nothing goes wrong and staying until Saturday. Then he’ll fly back home Saturday afternoon,
get home sometime early Sunday morning and be ready for work on Monday.
Meanwhile, T.J. and I will be
getting to Great-Aunt Sarah’s sometime Tuesday, hopefully before lunch. We plan on seeing Ian off at the airport then
we’ll begin our drive back home. It
should be a good bonding experience with T.J.
Once we get home, Ian and I will
be hosting our New Year’s Eve party for about twenty of our closest
friends. All in all, I think I might
need a vacation to recover from this holiday!
