When I Was In High School . . .

. . . I broke my arm skateboarding.
. . . I read a lot of comic books.
. . . my Grandma taught me how to cook.
. . . I was fascinated by lightning storms.
. . . I used to wander Greenwich Village wondering what the big deal was (I eventually discovered what the big deal was).
. . . I hated showering in the locker room after gym class.
. . . I didn’t realize it at the time, but I had a crush on my freshman math teacher, Mr. Gomez.
. . . I stopped wearing pajamas and usually slept in my underwear, though sometimes not.
. . . I used to wonder if we were ever gonna get cable TV.
. . . my favorite breakfast was still banana pancakes and bacon.
. . . I used to go to Rockaway Park Beach with some buddies two or three times a week in the summer.
. . . I had an after-school job at the local supermarket stocking the shelves.
. . . I used to write and draw my own comics.
. . . I loved riding around the neighborhood on my bicycle.
. . . I used to watch the same old b&w porn loops over and over.
. . . I wrote poetry.
. . . I tried out for the school tennis team but didn’t make it.
. . . I dated a couple of girls before I figured out I was really into guys.
. . . my Grandma was the one to tell me I was gay.
. . . I used to jerk off nearly every night before going to bed.
. . . I used to buy Hustler but was more turned on by the naked guys with their hard cocks then the naked women with their overly-big tits and wet pussies.
. . . I went from a Prep School Nerd to a Goth Wannabe in one summer.
. . . I got my left nipple pierced.
. . . I saw my first gay porn movie and live, male strip show.
. . . Science and Math were my worst subjects.
. . . I used to hide my stash of gay porn with my comic books.
. . . I had my dick sucked in the men’s room of a Greenwich Village McDonald’s.
. . . my friend Eddie used to sleep over and we’d have sex.
. . . I used to wonder if I would ever fall in love.
. . . I was in a garage band.
. . . I realized it was o.k. for me to be gay.

I guess my high school years weren’t all that bad after all.
What are some of the things you remember about your high school years?
